Letter From the Founders
We came here from California, where eating this way was nothing special. Plant-based was on every corner. Nobody made a fuss about it, it was just lunch.
Then we moved to Georgia and went looking for the same thing, and it was not here.
Not close by, anyway.
Then we found Plantbaed in Vinings. We were not expecting much and we left talking about it the whole drive home. This was not someone dabbling. It was a real kitchen with a real point of view, food that had already found its people, made by a team who had been doing it well for years.
So we did not set out to invent anything. We had something better in front of us. We asked Plantbaed Inc. if they would bring it here, and they said yes.
What you are eating is their food and their standard, with dishes we developed together for this room. That partnership is the reason this café exists, and we are proud to put our name beside theirs.
We source from Serenbe farms and local growers whenever we can, and we let the season decide what lands on your plate. We believe food is medicine. We have believed that a long time. And medicine works best when it is fresh and when it comes from close to home.
The name says the rest. Baed is plant based, said with affection. That is how they cook. That is how we want you to feel when you sit down.
One more thing we are proud of. Alongside the Chaka Khan Foundation, we are committed to employing neurodiverse individuals wherever we are able, and to the dignity and self-sufficiency that comes with good work.

Yes, we offer both! Our cafe has a cozy, intimate indoor seating area and a charming outdoor patio. All of our seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. While we have limited seating inside, we encourage you to enjoy our patio when the weather is nice.
We are open from 10:00am to 7:00pm, Tuesday – Sunday. Closed on Mondays.
